Today is National Peach Ice Cream Day
 
here's a treat for you... 
    
 

 
 
 
Peach Ice Cream
by Bell  
 
Ingredients:  
1  3/4 cup white sugar
3 eggs,  beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
5 peaches, fresh, pitted, chopped
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup half-and-half cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract  
 
Directions:  
Mix in a large bowl the following ingredients:  sugar and eggs until smooth.
Puree peaches in  food processor or blender.
Stir  2 1/2   cups of pureed peaches into sugar/egg mixture.
Next add by stirring in - the cream, vanilla, salt and half-and-half.  Mix well.
Final step - pour this mixture into freezer compartment of an ice cream maker.
Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
And enjoy...
