Dean Goodman for Reuter's had this to say:
"LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Flamboyant funk music pioneer Rick James, a dynamic performer whose sensuous 1981 dance hit "Super Freak" came to embody the ruinous excesses of his colourful life, has died in his sleep of natural causes. He was 56.

James died at 9:20 a.m. (5:20 p.m. British time) on Friday in his home near Hollywood, a record label spokeswoman said."

this especially caught my eye:
"In 1991, James and his then 21-year-old girlfriend, Tania Hijazi, beat up and tortured a masseuse. The woman was tied naked to a chair, burned with a hot knife and a lighter and forced to perform oral sex on Hijazi.

In 1992, the couple beat up and held captive a female record label executive in a hotel on the Sunset Strip. James and Hijazi, who also went to prison, married upon his release in 1997."

33 year old female teacher has sex with student...
you hear things like this in the news more frequently nowadays...

I wonder if it has always been an epidemic of the same proportions...
or if it seems that the occurrences are happening more frequently now
because of more media coverage...


this particular one - shocked me when I read the story

and he story mentions that the student (child) was ONLY 12 years old at the time...

this particular female teacher had to do prison time for the sexual escapes
she had with this young boy... she had even become pregnant
by him... on more than one occasion...

just imagining the lady with the boy in sexual situations feels creepy...

she's not the only adult in the news having sex with children...

about a man having sex with a 15 year old girl... that's bad too...
but somehow I think the female teacher having sex with the 12
year old boy is so much WORSE... I think it's the age and not
the gender that's bothering me... come to think of it - I know that's what's
bothering me... just imaging the man with the young girl - if she had
been only 12 years old instead of 15 - then the disgust level would
be the same as it is with the female teacher having sex with a little
12 year old boy...


I've been trying to find information on a story I heard about not too long ago
where a female school coach was having sex with one of her
female players on her basketball team... she'd been doing it for more
than 2 years... the coach started the "affair" by having the girl
stay after practice to have special coaching to work on some
difficulties she was having during team play... and then they'd
innocently (at first) shower together... but as time went on
the coach started doing things like washing the back of the female
student... and touching her small breasts with soap... etc...

where was this ?? what state ?? I can't find the story anywhere...
I wonder if maybe it was not in the USA...
