Rodney Dangerfield fell into a coma after undergoing heart
surgery, died at 1:20 p.m., on Tuesday - October 5, 2004.
His publicist Kevin Sasaki. Dangerfield had a heart
valve replaced Aug. 25, 2004 at the University of
California, Los Angeles, Medical Center.

Dangerfield suffered a small stroke after the operation
and developed infectious and abdominal complications.
But in the past week he had emerged from the coma.

I am glad he's not suffering anymore... he sure
gave it a go though...

I remember when I was younger my dad wouldn't let
us listen to him - and my mom said his humor was
too dirty for us... but I heard my dad laugh at
things he'd say on TV... so I always wanted to
watch too... to see what he was saying...
